NPESC/Supercargoes Bursary Award
Earlier today Captain Joachim Ruether(NPESC) and Terry Stewart (BC Supercargoes) were in attendance at BCIT Marine Campus to present Nautical Sciences Cadet Megan Bouvier with one of the Bursary awards made by NPESC and The BC Supercargoes Association.

Awards at Western Maritime Institute (WMI)
Captain Joachim Ruether was in hand at WMI in Ladysmith to present students Nicolas Cote and Ryan Winger.
Ryan was a winner of one of this year’s NPESC/Supercargoes Bursary awards. He is working on his 150 ton ticket and plans to work on a 500 ton ticket at s later date.
Nicolas was the successful recipient of an NPESC Book Award and has been successful in his Master 150ton /Watchkeeping Mate studies.
NPESC Awards at BCIT Convocation Ceremonies
This year’s BCIT First Year Achievement Bursary award was made to Cadet Havill Leitch by Captains Joachim Ruether and David Whittaker (left) on November 1st.
The three are joined by cadets Justin Bury, Alexander Holiove and Nicola Zimny and Captain Philip McCarter.
