Applications are invited from qualified students for the Spring 2024 NPESC bursaries. Four C$1,500 bursaries and one C$1,000 (Brian Silvester bursary for a student at WMI) will be awarded to applicants enrolled in Nautical Science or Marine Engineering courses of a minimum length of 250 hours at a training institution approved by Transport Canada and registered with the British Columbia government.
Please note that the deadline for applications is: Midnight May 18th, 2024.
There will be another competition in the Fall of 2024 with more Bursaries being offered. If you are unsuccessful at this Spring event, we encourage you to re-apply in the Fall.
NOTE: First-year students and students who have previously successfully won any of the above bursaries are not eligible to win the same ‘type-funded’ bursary again
