Spring 2021 Bursary Application Form

Applications are invited from qualified students for the spring 2021 NPESC bursaries.

There will be four C$1,000 bursaries awarded to applicants enrolled in Nautical Science or Marine Engineering courses of a minimum length of 250 hours at a training institution approved by Transport Canada and registered with the British Columbia government.

One Bursary is for a student on the Island and it is in memory of Captain Brian Silvester who was a long time and well respected  instructor at Camosun College.

Please note that the deadline for applications is: April 30th 2021

There will very likely be another competition in the fall of 2021 with more Bursaries being offered. If you are not successful at this spring event, we encourage you to re-apply in the fall.

We would like to highlight the need for applicants to clearly outline their financial needs in the Budget Worksheet.

NOTE: FIRST YEAR CADETS and also previous winners of our bursaries are not eligible to apply for these bursary awards.

Please note that the deadline for applications is:  April 30th 2021. Copies of the Application Form and the Budget Worksheet can be found here:
